What we collect when you visit our sites or apply to a program, what we do with it, and the controls you have.

01Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how LevelUp Edu Pvt Ltd ("LevelUp", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you visit our websites, apply to any of the Forge Residency Programs, which include the Forge AI Residency, the Forge Creator Residency, the Forge Filmmaking Bootcamp, and the Forge Writing Retreat, or participate in one. It is written to comply with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

02What we collect

• Application data: name, email, phone number, city, and the personal and professional details you share in application forms and admissions interviews.
• Payment data: payment status and transaction references from our payment provider, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank credentials.
• Program data: the work you share during a program, feedback you submit, and photos and recordings made during sessions.
• Website data: device and usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and advertising pixels from Meta, Google, Microsoft Clarity, and X. These record how our sites are used, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked.

03How we use it

We use personal data to process applications, run admissions interviews, collect fees, operate the programs, communicate with you about your application and cohort, maintain our alumni communities, improve our websites, and measure and run our advertising. Where consent is required for a use, we ask for it.

04Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers who run parts of our operations, including Razorpay for payments, Tally for forms, Calendly for interview scheduling, and the analytics and advertising platforms named above, each under their own privacy terms.
• Mentors and program staff, to the extent needed to prepare for and run your cohort.
• Partner brands, only where this is stated at the point of collection and you consent to it.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

05Cookies and advertising

Pixels on our sites help us measure which of our ads work. You can limit tracking through your browser settings and through the ad preference controls on Meta, Google, and X. The sites work without marketing cookies.

06Retention

We keep application and program data for as long as needed to run the programs, maintain our alumni communities, meet legal and accounting obligations, and handle disputes. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

07Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw consent for marketing communication at any time. Write to forge@leveluplearning.in and we will respond within a reasonable period, and in any case within the timelines required by law. Deletion requests are honoured except where we must retain data by law.

08Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including access controls and reputable third-party processors. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

09Children

The programs and our websites are intended for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10Changes, grievances, and governing law

We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Grievances go to forge@leveluplearning.in. This policy is governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction restricted to the courts of Chennai, India.
