the Forge by LevelUp
Terms & Conditions.
LevelUp Edu Pvt Ltd
The agreement between you and LevelUp Edu Pvt Ltd when you apply to, pay for, or attend any Forge program.
01Who we are and what these terms cover
The Forge Residency Programs, which include the Forge AI Residency, the Forge Creator Residency, the Forge Filmmaking Bootcamp, and the Forge Writing Retreat ("the programs") are operated by LevelUp Edu Pvt Ltd ("LevelUp", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our websites, your application to any program, and your participation in it. By applying, paying, or attending, you accept these terms, our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and our Privacy Policy, which together form the entire agreement between you and LevelUp.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to apply. By applying you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Providing false information is grounds for rejection or removal from a program without refund.
03Application and selection
Admission is by application, and for most programs an interview. Payment of the application fee books your slot in the process and does not guarantee admission. Selection decisions are made by LevelUp at its sole discretion and are final. We are not obliged to share reasons for a decision.
04Fees and payments
All fees, payment schedules, cancellations, deferrals, and refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Payments must be made only through official payment links issued on our websites or in writing by our admissions team. LevelUp is not responsible for payments made to any other account or through any other channel.
05Program changes
We work hard to run each program as published, and some details necessarily evolve. LevelUp may modify dates, venue, schedule, curriculum, activities, and the mentor lineup of any program. Mentors appear subject to their availability, and a specific mentor's presence is not a term of this agreement. Reasonable changes of this kind do not create a right to a refund. If an entire edition is cancelled, the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies.
06Code of conduct
Our residencies are shared living and working environments. You agree to treat participants, mentors, staff, and venue personnel with respect, to follow venue rules and applicable law, and to avoid behaviour that endangers or harasses others, including possession or use of illegal substances. LevelUp may remove a participant for breach of this section at its sole discretion. Removal does not create a right to a refund, and costs arising from early departure are yours.
07Health, travel, and insurance
You are responsible for your own travel to and from the venue, travel documents, personal insurance, and fitness to attend a residential program. Disclose any medical condition that could require attention during a residency to the admissions team before arrival. LevelUp is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, or for injury or illness arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
08Intellectual property
All program materials, including curricula, session content, templates, recordings, and library resources, are the intellectual property of LevelUp or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning and work. You may not resell, republish, re-teach, or redistribute them. Whatever you create during a program, including your products, content, films, and writing, belongs to you.
09Photography and recordings
Sessions and program moments may be photographed and recorded. You grant LevelUp the right to use this material, which may include your name, image, voice, and work, in our marketing across any medium. If you do not want to appear in marketing material, write to forge@leveluplearning.in before your program starts and we will exclude you wherever practicable.
10No guaranteed outcomes
The programs provide education, mentorship, structure, and a community. They do not guarantee revenue, funding, clients, followers, placements, job opportunities, or any specific business or career outcome. Results depend on your own effort and circumstances. Statements about past participants describe their individual results and are not promises about yours.
11Third-party tools and platforms
The programs teach and use third-party tools, platforms, and services. Your use of these is governed by their own terms, and their availability, pricing, and features are outside our control.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of LevelUp arising out of or in connection with a program is limited to the program fee actually paid by you. LevelUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data.
13Indemnity
You agree to indemnify LevelUp against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any third party's rights during a program.
14Termination
LevelUp may suspend or terminate your participation for breach of these terms. The Refund and Cancellation Policy governs the financial consequences of any termination.
15General
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure by LevelUp to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. LevelUp may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page and apply prospectively.
16Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, India. Questions go to forge@leveluplearning.in.
